About This Group
Messmer the Impalers army in Elden Ring? Shadow of the Erdtree was a fearsome force forged in fire and fanaticism. Originally a*sembled to carry out Queen Marikas brutal purge of the Land of Shadow‚ the army was composed of elite Fire Knights‚ relentless Black Knights‚ and fanatical foot soldiers all empowered by Messmers cursed flame. Their mission was to cleanse those deemed unworthy of the Grace of Gold‚ particularly the Hornsent and other exiles.

Though once acting under divine sanction‚ the army became a symbol of twisted devotion as Messmer descended into madness and serpentine corruption. Even after being cast aside and sealed away‚ many of his followers remained loyal driven by duty‚ fear‚ or a shared thirst for vengeance. Their flame-wreathed crusade scorched the land‚ leaving behind only ash‚ ruin‚ and the echoes of a forgotten war.
