About This Group
The asexual spectrum‚ often called acespec‚ ace spec‚ or ace-spec‚ is a term for identities that fall under or near the umbrella of asexuality. These identities are deeply connected‚ forming a broad and supportive community.

While the general asexual flag is commonly used to represent the spectrum‚ there's also a specific flag made just for it. It was shared on Tumblr by the Flag Archive blog (Potion) on July 25‚ 2020. The flag has four horizontal stripes‚ each with a meaning?
- Dark blue stands for community‚ history‚ and solidarity
- Purple represents asexuality in all its forms and self-identifications
- Pink symbolizes self-determination‚ pride‚ and acceptance
- Cream reflects the diversity of experiences and types of attraction

While the asexual and aromantic spectrums are not the same‚ they often overlap and we recognize that many folks navigate both. Whether you're aroace‚ grayro‚ demiromantic‚ or just figuring things out‚ your are valid.
