In the ethereal waters‚ west of Greece‚ abundant isles lie;
Which no storm‚ nor quakes‚ corrupt the land and sea therein;
A place where exhibitions‚ commemoration‚ and merriment all ensue;
Somewhere which the temperament not bid hostility‚ but a kind embrace;

Far past the river Cocytus‚ and farther past Acheron‚ still;
Much beyond the blaze of Pyriphlegethon‚ and the black of Lethe;
Where not the normal patron may go‚ nor the Hades-bound wretch;
Unto the lands where the righteous and honored souls may find a residency;

Hark‚ oh you wavering traveler‚ for a treat awaits your arrival ---
Trust Charon's beckoning call‚ for he will not lead one astray into the Styx;
No need for opulence‚ he will accept yours none‚ but your kind friends' plenty;
To the joyous fields‚ you will go‚ to never again feel the strain of toil‚ nor ache of angst;

So when you may feel the fiends of your mind creep in;
When your flesh ceases‚ or your own humors befall an imbalance;
Bow your head‚ think of home‚ picture the faces of those present and pa*sed;
