About This Group
Welcome to Grace Abounds VR‚ Here‚ we gather to delve and learn about the power of grace through Jesus Christ on the world.
Our Beliefs
We believe that salvation is a gift of Gods grace‚ received by faith in Christ alone not by our own works (Ephesians 2?89‚ Romans 3?28).
Our good works are not what make our faith genuine; true faith begins in the heart (Romans 10?910). Therefore‚ we affirm that salvation is by faith alone‚ apart from deeds (Romans 3?28‚ Romans 4?5).
Once we truly believe in our hearts‚ we are saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit‚ who is our promise and guarantee of eternal life (John 10?29‚ Ephesians 1?1314). If salvation could be lost‚ then it would not be a true promise yet Gods promises are unbreakable. Through faith‚ we receive eternal life‚ not temporary (John 3?16).
We believe that through Christ‚ Gods plan is to reconcile and restore all creation to Himself (Colossians 1?20).
As Scripture declares‚ For as in Adam all die‚ even so in Christ shall all be made alive (1 Corinthians 15?22).
This reveals Gods ultimate victory over sin and death that His love and mercy will reach every soul in His perfect time.
Even those in hell will one day be restored through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ (Philippians 2?1011‚ 1 John 2?2‚ Romans 8?1821‚ Revelation 22?17). Gods justice does not contradict His love; rather‚ His holiness purifies‚ corrects‚ and restores.
The phrase translated as eternal in many English Bibles comes from the Greek e?? t??? a???a? t?? a????? (eis tous aionas ton aionon)‚ which literally means unto the age of the ages. The word aion means an age a finite period within Gods plan. The preposition eis means unto or until‚ showing direction toward an appointed time‚ not unending duration. Therefore‚ these pa*sages describe ages of divine correction and restoration‚ not endless punishment.
Gods ultimate purpose is not destruction but renewal‚ for His mercy endures forever. (Psalm 136?1).
