Hello we are the minutemen we protect the people at a minutes notice. if you would like to hear our lore here you go? the minute men are named after the American revolutionary war militia‚ whose members were ready to fight out a minutes notice.

In 2180 the modern Day minutemen gained widespread recognition after defending diamond city from a super mutant attack.

Following their success‚ the minute men tried to organize the Commonwealth by attempting to establish a provisional government‚ but this failed due to political infighting and the a*sa*sinations of key leaders by an institute sent synth.

They established their main base at the castle or fort independence a historical fort on the Boston waterfront.

In 2240 a milelurk queen emerged from the ocean and destroyed the castle‚ their headquarters.

The loss of the castle resulted in the loss of their primary radio station‚ artillery and many leaders.
This led to an infectious leadership and a decline in the coordination among the remaining groups.

By the time of the soul Survivors arrival in 2287 the Minutemen are significantly weakened with their numbers send and their organizational structure fragmented.

Despite their decline‚ small bands of minutemen continue to operate‚ providing support to settlers and protect protecting them from very stretch in the Commonwealth‚ such as Raiders and hostile wildlife.

The soul Survivor joined the Minuteman and became their new general with the goal of restoring them to their former glory and creating a safer Commonwealth for everyone.
