About This Group

Welcome to the roleplay community of Kocho no Yakuza‚ or the Butterfly Yakuza. Our community aesthetic consists of J*panese criminal underworld‚ Cyberpunk and Fantasy‚ and our events vary in difficulty and seriousness.

Our currency is called C-Yen (CY‚ C-¥ or Crypto Yen). We have shops where you may spend C-yen for various items that may help you in events. You may explore skill trees and buy skills for C-Yen as well. Every Murasaki Clan member also owns a complimentary "mewPhone"‚ which allows them to use mewPhone apps on our Discord (text-based in-character channels)‚ such as channels for Text RP or a diaries‚ where you may describe the POV of your character on events or occurances.

Additionally‚ members get an inventory where they may keep track of items they own‚ and a carry slot system‚ which limits how many items can be brought onto a job.

We are set 20 years in the future‚ in 204X‚ Tokyo‚ J*pan. Taking on the role of J*panese criminal organisation commonly known as Yakuza‚ gangsters who care deeply how they look in the eye of the public. Chivalrious organization‚ as they say.

The name of our clan is Murasaki Clan‚ and it currently consists of five families - four main ones and one subsidiary family.

Family system has a separate market‚ a manual gacha system (NPC family members with stats)‚ a business system (families buy and take care of businesses) and item crafting/production system.

The Fantasy part of our community revolves around the J*panese/asian folklore‚ and mainly spirits and deities.
