About This Group
The Virtual Racing Chat Fédération Internationale de lAutomobile (VRC FIA) is the official governing body of motorsport in VRChat. Inspired by the real FIA‚ we regulate and organise competitive virtual racing‚ ensuring every event is safe‚ fair‚ and professional.

The VRC FIA enforces the International Sporting Code (VR edition)‚ covering race formats‚ licensing‚ technical regulations‚ and conduct. Our rules guarantee that drivers‚ teams‚ and officials compete under the same transparent system‚ regardless of discipline or experience.

We oversee major championships‚ including VR Formula‚ GT‚ Rally‚ and Endurance‚ each with official calendars‚ points systems‚ and race procedures. Licensed officials race directors‚ stewards‚ clerks‚ and marshals maintain order and fairness during events.

The FIA manages a full licensing pathway‚ from rookie to Super Licence‚ along with a clear penalty-points system to ensure rules are applied consistently. Disciplinary procedures allow reviews and appeals‚ protecting both safety and integrity.

Beyond racing‚ the FIA upholds a strict Code of Ethics and Conduct. Respect‚ professionalism‚ and sportsmanship are expected at all times. Cheating‚ exploiting‚ or toxic behaviour is not tolerated.

While the FIA remains neutral‚ it operates a signature team‚ Turismo GT‚ which represents our standards of discipline and professionalism on track.
