About This Group
IDA is the international dancer's a*sociation it's the world's first international street dance scene created in VR started by JJFX-MULTIMEDIA in January of 2019 who started teaching people who have never danced before‚ how to dance in real life but through VR.

IDA consists of everything from new dancers to professional dancers. IDA always welcomes new dancers to come learn. IDA has teachers that dance in real life that have taught in studios‚ traveled‚ battled‚ or have otherwise real life footage via youtube‚ instagram‚ etc that shows they are proficient and knowledgeable in multiple styles.

IDA has worked with the devs of VRCHAT‚ HTC Vive‚ Foundation Studio (Houston‚TX)‚ Resonite‚ Street Styles Academy (KCMO)‚ and professional dancers outside of VR‚ that come into VR to teach for IDA. You can also see us at Twitch Con‚ Anime Expo‚ NishiFest‚ where we hold big dance circles at the Senpai Squad events or concerts.

IDA has been on tour since 2021 traveling around the United States‚ Germany (2024)‚ and J*pan(2023) and most recently attended and competed in the RedBull Dance Your style event in Kansas City‚ MO USA with members that have learned to dance through IDA in VR and have developed their skill enough to travel with us in real life and participate in battles‚ performances‚ and other events. During these trips‚ IDA covers some or all of travel costs and hotel for it's members in order to make sure that members who could not afford to participate are allowed to participate.

This VRC group is for users that want to stay connected with the community and attend community events as participants or observers.
