Nacionales de Defensa(FND) is Yaras primary military force and the iron fist of President Antón Castillos regime. Trained to value obedience over morality‚ the FDN exists to preserve order across the islandby force if necessary.

Composed of career soldiers‚ indoctrinated recruits‚ and elite special units‚ the FDN operates with strict hierarchy and brutal efficiency. From urban checkpoints in Esperanza to jungle patrols hunting guerrillas‚ the FDN maintains constant pressure on any resistance activity.

Doctrine & Ideology

The FDN believes chaos is Yaras greatest enemy. Freedom‚ in their view‚ is a luxury the people cannot be trusted with. Soldiers are taught that Libertad fighters are terrorists‚ foreign-backed traitors‚ and enemies of national unity.

Reputation

Feared by civilians and hated by rebels‚ the FDNs presence means surveillance‚ disappearances‚ and absolute control. Yet cracks are beginning to showdesertions are rising‚ morale is slipping‚ and whispers of rebellion are spreading even within their ranks.

Despite this‚ the FDN remains one of the most dangerous military forces in the Caribbean‚ held together by fear‚ loyalty‚ and the promise that Yara will rise again under Castillos rule.
