John Foxx pioneered the Synth-pop genre‚ and influenced artists like Gary Numan‚ with even Foxx's older Ultravox! work like the album "Systems of Romance" being the kindlings for Gary Numan's Replicas‚ TPP‚ Telekon‚ and further albums. The cold and eerie feeling of this album is genuinely unmatched‚ and I have yet to find one like it.
We stepped out in the shatter light‚
And I watched as we blew away.
Through a sea of seats‚
And the tangled-up streets‚
And the cities in a grey-blue haze.

All the places fold in
Underneath a daylight moon
