About This Group
The Sons of Alba‚ known among their ranks as The Host of the Highlands‚ are no rabble of clansmen or wandering swordsthey are a feudal war host‚ bound in loyalty to High King James VI of Scotland. Loyal to crown and country‚ the Sons march beneath the Saltire to defend the ancient bloodlines‚ uphold the kings law‚ and secure Scotlands sovereignty by steel and siege.

The Host is structured by tradition and lineage. James VI reigns as High King‚ his authority upheld by great lords‚ thane-led houses‚ and noble-born knights‚ whose right to command is drawn from title‚ land‚ and lineage. Beneath them march the fyrdmen‚ summoned from fields and villages‚ and the housecarls‚ seasoned retainers entrusted with enforcing noble will. Each man stands where his birth and fealty place himand none rise beyond it without the favor of their lord.

Discipline is rigid. Oaths are sacred. Orders are followed without question. The Sons of Alba are not ruled by ambition or chaosthey are driven by duty to throne‚ kin‚ and the soil beneath their boots. From fortified keeps to border pa*ses‚ they hold fast against enemy kings‚ rebellious lords‚ and foreign invaders alike.

Bound by the crown‚ governed by blood‚ and feared across the Isles‚ they ride not for glorybut for Scotland.

No Tyrants. No Chains. Only Alba.
