About This Group
Basic Combat Training (BCT) is the foundational training program that transforms civilian volunteers into disciplined and confident U.S. Army Soldiers. Over the course of several intensive phases‚ recruits learn the core skills‚ values‚ and mindset required for service in the United States Army.

BCT builds physical strength‚ mental toughness‚ teamwork‚ and resilience through structured training that includes weapons qualification‚ tactical field exercises‚ Army values education‚ and essential battlefield skills. Every trainee learns to shoot‚ move‚ communicate‚ and survive while adapting to the Armys standards of discipline and professionalism.

By the end of training‚ each Soldier has demonstrated the courage‚ commitment‚ and readiness necessary to defend the nation and support missions worldwide. BCT is the beginning of a Soldiers legacy where strength‚ loyalty‚ and honor are forged.
