About This Group

Welcome to the 23rd Flying Tigers Squadron!

(History) The "Flying Tigers" were the American Volunteer Group (AVG) (AVG)‚ a group of American military personnel recruited to fight for China against J*panese invaders before the U.S. officially entered World War II. Led by retired Army Captain Claire L. Chennault‚ they were nicknamed the Flying Tigers for their planes' distinctive shark's teeth markings and achieved a remarkable record of downing J*panese aircraft. The AVG officially disbanded in 1942‚ with its members forming the cadre of the U.S. 23rd Fighter Group‚ which continued their mission after the U.S. entry into the war.

This a semi-serious group mostly for fun
