Sometimes I think my heart has jumped out of my body until I feel its pounding against my chest.
I want to fill my heart with helium for it feels less anchoring in my core‚ raising it above guilty waters.
My veins tie knots to slow the hatred from spreading to the rest of my being despite becoming numb.
Yearning to purge this feeling within me‚ I claw at my chest hoping to let the acid drain‚ turning every inch of my skin inside out to find what has rotten underneath.
Though I've found that this hatred is embedded into the marrow of my bones.
Nothing can end this feeling that's intertwined with my cells.
