Humanitys first faster-than-light breakthrough didnt unite the stars‚ it broke them.
Early jump technology tore microscopic fractures into spacetime. Most were harmless. Some werent. Entire systems vanished‚ civilizations went silent‚ and regions of space became unstable‚ unpredictable‚ or outright hostile. These regions became known as The Shatter‚ a vast expanse no government could fully control.
Out of this chaos arose the Star Travelers.
The Star Travelers are an independent deep-space exploration and response fleet‚ not owned by any single government‚ but sanctioned by many. Their mandate is simple in wording‚ impossible in execution?
Explore the unknown. Protect whats found. Survive what finds you.
Each Star Traveler ship operates as a self-contained mobile civilization‚ capable of long-term missions far beyond established space lanes. Crews are chosen not just for skill‚ but for adaptability‚ loyalty‚ and psychological resilience.
The Ships?
Star Traveler vessels‚ called Wanderer-Cla*s Ships‚ are ma*sive‚ modular craft designed for years or decades away from known space.
Key traits?
Adaptive hull plating for spatial anomalies
Multi-deck internal ecosystems
Redundant AI systems (never just one‚ lessons were learned).
