The end came quickly‚ quietly in the night..

No great prophecy foretelling the end now expected doom‚ it simply happened. One day the stars began to fall streaking across the sky. In the first days no one noticed a few shooting stars wasn't a cause for alarm‚ but they didn't stop.

Night after night more stars streaked themselves across the night sky and in growing numbers. It initially filled people with wonder till the magic that was nothing but fairy tale started to affect people. at first it was strange noises in the night and a sense of tension in the air.

Then things started to change‚ beasts and monsters showed themselves and even humans began to mutate becoming The Star Cursed.

Things from other worlds ended up on peoples doorsteps‚ some friendly‚ some not‚ some incomprehensible. The kingdoms fell in panic and humans were driven to the edge of extinction surviving off anything they could and then the stars stopped falling.

Humans and the Star Cursed learned to survive in this new world and are slowly rebuilding and advancing to new heights. But they have learned to be cautious as stars still fall and beasts greater than any wolf now stalk the people from outside of their walls when the night calls them.

The magic from the events condensed into Aurora Ley Lines that shift..
