About This Group

位于中国北京市西城区西长安街街道，泛指北京皇城中邻近中海及南海的区域，毗连紫禁城，其占地100公顷，其中水面约50公顷，是中华人民共和国国务院、中共中央书记处和中共中央办公厅等重要机关办公所在地。中华人民共和国成立后，历代党和国家领导人皆居住于此，因此中南海这一地点也常用来指代中国共产党和中华人民共和国政府的最高权力
