1992-1994˸ Tetsu Era
Malice Mizer formed in 1992 with Mana‚ Közi‚ Tetsu‚ Yu~ki‚ and Gaz. Their early sound fused gothic‚ progressive‚ and cla*sical rock. After Gaz left‚ Kami joined as drummer. They released their debut album Memoire in 1994 before Tetsu departed due to creative differences.

1995-1998˸ Gackt Era
Gackt joined in 1995‚ bringing a shift to synthpop and art rock with lavish visuals. With growing success‚ they released Voyage Sans Retour and their best-selling album Merveilles （1998）‚ performing at major venues. Gackt left in 1999 amid reported creative and managerial tensions.

1999-2000˸ Kamis Death
Drummer Kami died suddenly in 1999. His final songs appeared on the Shinwa EP. The band used support drummers moving forward and continued releasing singles while searching for a new vocalist.

2000-2001˸ Klaha Era
Klaha joined in 2000‚ and the band embraced a darker‚ gothic-cla*sical style. They released Bara no Seidou and starred in the vampire film Bara no Konrei. After several singles‚ they went on indefinite hiatus in late 2001.
