About This Group
The USS Valkyrie is a Federation Starship exploring the VRC Sector and communicating via subspace on Discord.

Welcome Aboardǃ As a new Starfleet Academy graduate‚ or Visiting Officer‚ we have determined that you have a working knowledge of Star Trek as well as an understanding of Starfleet principles and the Prime Directive.

We expect you to work well with others‚ be professional‚ while exhibiting and appreciating our well-known warped sense of humor.

Role-playing is not required. We wish everyone to participate at their own comfort level. We interact daily on Discord. It is expected that you will be actively participating‚ at least enough to let us know you havent died in a Jefferies tube or been blown out an airlock. For some people that means multiple times a day‚ for others once a week.

Promotion is based on participation. If less activity is anticipated‚ you may be a*signed to Crewman status‚ with full privileges.

The crew of the USS Valkyrie gets together in a wide variety of locations‚ including in all departments - Engineering‚ Ops‚ Medical‚ Science and Security‚ and on other ships. We meet for Trekkin Tuesday from 9-10 pm EST. We try to be of service to the community and to help each other. Most importantly‚ we get together to have fun.

We have an invitation-only policy This is necessary to ensure the group can communicate with each other‚ and that only active members can join attendance-restricted events.
