The sky broke first.

Not with thunder‚ nor with falling stars‚ but with silencea suffocating hush that pressed against the hearts of every living soul in Teyvat. The sun dimmed as if swallowed by an unseen maw‚ its light bending inward until only a black halo remained. Around it bloomed veins of violet and abyssal blue‚ spreading like cracks in divine gla*s.

An eclipse.

But not a natural one.

From Mondstadts wind-kissed cliffs to the depths of the Chasm‚ people felt it˸ the Abyss had risen‚ no longer content to whisper from below. It had come to claim the world above.

In Mondstadt‚ the winds howled in panic. Venti stood atop the cathedral‚ lyre silent in his hands. For the first time in centuries‚ the Anemo Archon felt the wind refuse his call.

Ah so this is how it begins‚ he murmured‚ eyes darkening as Abyss Mages emerged from the shadows of the city itself. Not invadingawakening‚ as if they had always been there.
