About This Group
For generations‚ goblins have been misunderstood and vilified by humans‚ elves‚ dwarves‚ and other dominant species in the realm. Our homes were raided‚ our families torn apart‚ and our kind hunted mercilessly.
The so-called "genocide" wasn't just a single event but a series of atrocities spanning centuries. It wasn't always open warfare; sometimes it was subtle discrimination‚ denying us access to resources‚ land‚ and basic rights. Other times‚ it was outright violence‚ with goblin villages razed to the ground and our people slaughtered without mercy.
To outsiders‚ we were seen as nothing more than pests‚ thieves‚ and troublemakers. They didn't bother to understand our culture‚ our customs‚ or the struggles we faced in a world that constantly pushed us to the fringes. Instead‚ they painted us with broad strokes of villainy‚ using our differences to justify their cruelty.
But despite the suffering and loss‚ goblins are a resilient people. We learned to adapt‚ to survive in the shadows‚ and to find strength in unity. Our communities grew stronger‚ our bonds tighter‚ as we fought to preserve our way of life against those who sought to extinguish it.
The scars of the goblin genocide run deep‚ reminding us of the injustices we've endured and the resilience it took to endure them. But we refuse to be defined by our past. We strive to carve out a future where goblins are not feared but respected‚ where our voices are heard‚ and where we can live in peace alongside our fellow beings.
