About This Group
The idea that hell is eternal is based on a mistranslation of the koine Greek word "Aionios‚" which means˸ Age-Lasting‚ or pertaining to an age. The scripture says clearly that everyone eventually will be saved‚ and hell is described as "age-lasting."
The most common objection to this is˸ Matthew 25˸46˸ And these will go away into eternal punishment‚ but the righteous into eternal life."

Aionios does not mean eternal‚ not even for life here specifically. This section of the chapter begins with "when the Son of Man comes." How many times does Jesus come back? Only once‚ and therefore Jesus was talking about the second coming‚ which comes after the tribulation and before both the millennial kingdom and final judgement. Therefore˸ It is saying that when Jesus returns‚ the righteous go into age lasting life‚ and the unrighteous into age lasting corrective punishment (kolasis.)
So‚ if hell isn't eternal‚ and if everyone gets saved‚ but firstly the believers‚ then the only logical conclusion is that those who go to the lake of fire are refined‚ and cleansed‚ though in agony‚ and after being made pure‚ go to Heaven‚ finally saved.

Furthermore‚ Punishment comes from the Greek word˸ kolasis‚ which is a corrective punishment‚ as opposed to˸ timōria‚ a retributive punishment.

In 1st Timothy 4˸10 it uses the word "Malista" which is translated to "especially‚" which means˸ chiefly‚ firstly‚ or above all‚ but not only (inclusive.) This shows that in the Greek‚ it says that everyone is saved‚ no exception.
