The Confederate Alliance is a collection of systems‚ planets‚ and species that have long been disillusioned by the ever-tightening grip of centralized galactic rule. Originally formed as a response to the authoritarian tactics of the Galactic Empire‚ the Alliance was reignited in the aftermath of the fall of the Empire‚ finding new purpose as the New Republics promises of democracy and unity gave way to corruption and bureaucratic inefficiency.

The Confederate Alliance believes that the galaxy would be better served by a return to a decentralized system where local governments have greater autonomy‚ free from the interference of a central governing body. They argue that the galaxys countless cultures‚ species‚ and systems are too diverse to be ruled from a singular capital‚ whether it be Coruscant or any other seat of power.
