Once upon a time‚ there were seven kingdoms in the fantasy world of Unitas; Sonnen‚ Costa‚ Provecta‚ Gloire‚ Sanmyaku‚ Yuanyin and Amarum. Ninety years ago‚ there was tension between the kingdoms‚ and thus the War of Unitas took place. There was conflict between these nations for years on end‚ but had eventually realized that the war was futile and therefore signed the Treaty of Unitas in Sonnental to keep peace. In the present day‚ these seven kingdoms now happily live in tranquility with one another‚ and thus‚ a lot of advancements were made by mankind in terms of technology‚ government and quality of life‚ and eventually an organization known as the Adventurers' Guild was formed‚ serving all seven kingdoms in Unitas.

However‚ there is a looming threat across Unitas. A force of evil known as The Caliginous began to spread like wildfire throughout the world. Innocents are terrorized by them constantly‚ entire towns have been ravaged by them‚ and the people have been living in fear of them for a long time now. This was when the Adventurers had stepped in‚ doing whatever they could to stop these scoundrels from causing anymore unrest and rescuing any unfortunate bystanders who managed to get caught in their wake.

The Guild Master of Sonnen has cordially invited our heroes to join the Adventurers' Guild in the fight to stop The Caliginous. He has been searching for recruits‚ whether they be old familiar faces or newcomers‚ to take a stand and help in stopping The Caliginous once and for all. Whatever escapades the heroes may be wrapping themselves into‚ its time they take a stand against the evil thats taking Unitas over by storm once and for allǃ
