Key Aspects of Gnosticism
Reincarnation?
Many Gnostic sects believed in reincarnation as a means for the soul to ascend spiritually and escape the material world‚ which they viewed as corrupt and created by a lower deity (the Demiurge).

Belief in God?
Gnostics believe in a supreme‚ unknowable God (the True God)‚ distinct from the Demiurge‚ who created the physical world. The supreme God is seen as purely spiritual and beyond human comprehension.
