About This Group
RAF Lakenheath Ops is a VRChat aviation operations group focused on coordinated‚ military-style flying and immersive environments. The group was created by Zatins with the goal of building a persistent operational space where pilots can fly‚ train‚ and operate together using realistic procedures and teamwork. From the start‚ the emphasis has been on knowledge‚ coordination‚ and shared responsibility rather than strict roleplay.

Operations take place on a large map based around RAF Lakenheath and surrounding airspace. Multiple squadrons operate aircraft such as the F-15‚ F-35‚ and C-17‚ all of which are fully manual and require real startup procedures and proper system knowledge to operate. Weapon ranges and operational zones are spread across the map and must be coordinated by pilots and leadership. Dynamic weather‚ changing cloud density‚ fog‚ and a full day and night cycle affect visibility and mission planning‚ adding challenge to every operation.

Development of the map and systems is led by Sebszo‚ with ongoing improvements driven by community involvement. To support coordination and communication‚ RAF Lakenheath Ops maintains an active Discord server where operations are planned‚ squadrons are managed‚ training is organized‚ and updates are shared.
