At one point in their history‚ the Viltrumites ignited a major civil war to eliminate their weaknesses. When it ended‚ their population decreased by fifty percent‚ yet those still present were the strongest of their kind. Thanks to a powerful warrior‚ Viltrum transformed into the leading empire in the galaxy‚ and it swiftly decided to position itself as the exclusive empire in their galaxy. The Viltrumites launched a mission to seize dominance over every inhabited planet in the galaxy. Some species fought back‚ but none could withstand their power for long.

Scourge Virus?
In the end‚ the Viltrum Empire encompa*sed thousands of worlds‚ their actions sparked the creation of the Coalition‚ which became the Empire's strongest opponent to eradicate.

Targeting Earth?
As their territory grew‚ their forces became stretched thin‚ causing their expansion to cease. The Viltrumites needed a better‚ more efficient approach to dominate planets. Consequently‚ they sent a number of their most trustworthy officers to specific planets to weaken their fortifications and prepare them for an entire takeover.
