About This Group

Primary purpose is to be a convenience tool/utility for DJs in VRchat
The site is needed as a backend for the database for a slightly bigger project
For security reasons login credentials will only use oauth protocol‚ (with hopes of native VRC integration in the near future)
Full functionality will stay free for the entirety of this project.

Current use case? better livestream links
-User logs in with Discord; makes profile
-Inputs VRchat username + usual livestream link
-vrcdj provides short link. (example? username.vrcdj.com)
Short link can now be used as stream link in video players.
Short link auto fallback to vrcdj profile when dj isn't live

a*suming ma*s adoption‚ this allows simply guessingwhat the stream link is.

Additional future functionality?
VRC Worlds with vrcdj prefab will have the database persistence
---- Shouldn't need to be updated
---- Events Runners/Club owners having to manually add 'dj roles'
Opens up many possibilities for clever game modes‚
Crowd controlling aspects of the DJ set (VRCSDK ÷ vrcdj ÷ OSC)
Integrated old school online radio station (website)

This is entirely dependent on recruiting enough DJS to make this worthwhile
I'm starting small to make sure functionality is perfect
