We are the Combine.

We are not an empire. We are not a government. We are order‚ manifest through efficiency‚ technology‚ and dominance. Worlds are not conquered they are corrected. Species are not enslaved they are repurposed.

Earth was integrated following primitive resistance and disorganized governance by local mammalian lifeforms. The species human demonstrated rudimentary cognitive advancement but suffered from fragmentation‚ emotional instability‚ and terminal self-interest.
