Who is Figment?
Figment is a Disney Character. He was created for the original attraction‚ Journey Into Imagination‚ which debuted at EPCOT on March 5‚ 1983. One year after EPCOT Center's GRAND opening (October 1‚ 1982). Once upon a time‚ Figment used to be a green colored dragon because of his original sponsorship being with FujiFilm‚ and that was before KODAK came in to sponsor for the Imagination Pavilion. Figment has been loved for years and is a childhood character for those who grew up with the original EPCOT Center with Figment and Dreamfinder. Today‚ Figment stands to be one of the BIGGEST Disney Character's of ALL TIME with thousands of adoring lovers for the character. The ORIGINAL Journey Into Imagination closed on October 10‚ 1998 to be replaced by Journey Into YOUR Imagination. Then got replaced to the current version on June 1‚ 2002‚ Journey Into Imagination With Figment.
PLEASE NOTE? Figment is not Spyro‚ a Dragon Tales character‚ Barney‚ or anything other purple dragon you may know of. Figment is HIS OWN character.
