The Ape Refuge Kingdom is a society of apes hidden deep in the woodlands of the Free State of Washington. The clan was formed by Mort the Gigantopithecus‚ After Gormundr's invasion of a planet Earth variant‚ now dubbed War World. A.R.K. serves as a sanctuary for the remaining ape tribes on the planet. Every member of ARK serves to protect their territories in the Akoma woods and uphold its ancestral way of life.
