"Construction on the main above-ground structure began in 1974 and finished in 1978. It is one of the Foundation's oldest containment sites. The exterior is camouflaged with Metamaterial Technology‚ relying on the forest's heavy canopy for concealment from aerial surveillance. The official cover-up for the site is the Apalachicola Experimental Forestry Outpost (AEFO)‚ a structure that functions as the site's main gate and initial security checkpoint."

"SCP Site-14 is a large‚ isolated Foundation facility situated within the deepest‚ most inaccessible pine and hardwood forests of the Apalachicola National Forest‚ Florida. Its internal structure is configured with reinforced containment wings‚ extensive life-support‚ Etc. Security protocols are exceptionally severe to prevent biological contamination from breaching the facility and entering the National Forest."
