About This Group

The Async Backrooms is a fictional web series centered around the Async Research Institute's discovery and exploration of the Backrooms‚ also known as "the Complex". The series takes place in the 1990s and follows Async's attempts to study and document the Backrooms‚ a vast empty space accessed through a portal created using the Low Proximity Magnetic Distortion System. The portal's opening is linked to a spike in missing persons as people are pulled into the Complex.
