Purpose & Foundation
SITE-VELUM was established as a cla*sified off-network facility under the direct authority of O5-9‚ a council member with strong ties to temporal and anti-memetic research. Its creation followed the containment failure of several cognitohazardous and data-corrupting anomalies anomalies that were uncontainable by conventional means‚ but predictable through information flow analysis.

Unlike other Foundation sites designed for hard containment or public disruption response‚ Site-Velum exists in the shadows‚ beneath even the other shadows as a diagnostic brain of the Foundation's anomaly handling.

Its goal is not merely to lock away threats‚ but to understand their patterns‚ catalog their behaviors‚ and create adaptive protocols for future global SCP responses. As such‚ Site-Velum houses one of the largest internal archives of anomaly metadata much of which is cla*sified even from other Foundation personnel.

On-Site Containment
Though not built for ma*s containment‚ Site-Velum nonetheless stores and studies several anomalies. These range from Safe-cla*s entities to Apollyon-tier threats too volatile to keep at major Foundation hubs.

Anomalies at Site-Velum are categorized not just by danger level‚ but by informational decay risk the likelihood of corrupting‚ infecting‚ or manipulating Foundation data structures.
